How do we lead well when we encounter people whose values, beliefs or convictions are different from our own, or who are still learning and working them out? This workshop explores how we navigate those differences with clarity and grace, journeying alongside people without avoiding difficult conversations or expecting everyone to be in the same place.

One thing the faith journey does not promise us is a straight path. Following Jesus is a narrow road, and there will be seasons of pain, suffering, uncertainty, and waiting. How do we, as leaders, remain grounded through difficulty? How do we allow hardship to become a place of deep spiritual formation rather than discouragement? This elective explores resilience, faithfulness, and the tension of following Jesus in a broken world. This will explore how God develops character in hidden places so that we do not need to fear the pain, but can trust Him through it.

Where is God in the rhythms of your life and ministry? This workshop explores what healthy, sustainable ministry looks like and how we can develop life rhythms that help us stay spiritually, emotionally, physically, and relationally well. Together, we’ll explore how to stay fuelled, enjoy ministry, make space for rest and renewal, and learn to live and minister from a place of overflow rather than depletion. You’ll also find practical resources and tools to help you build healthy rhythms—not just for ministry, but for life as a whole.

Culture shapes every ministry, whether we realise it or not. As followers of Jesus, we are called to invite people out of the culture of the world and into the culture of God’s kingdom. This session will explore why culture matters, how it is formed, and the practical ways we can intentionally cultivate healthy, Christ-centred cultures in the churches, teams, and ministries we lead.

What if you could articulate, in a few powerful paragraphs, the future God is inviting you to help create? Through guided reflection and practical exercises, you’ll develop a personal vision statement that aligns your calling, character, and leadership. Leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a clear framework for leading with intentionality and impact.

How to have difficult conversations with people that can lead to health. This Breakout is to help Young Leaders start learning and practicing how to approach tough conversations with people. Usually, we avoid these conversations because it will make us feel bad/awkward (i.e Pain Now). But when we don’t address these things, they end up doing more damage to us, our teams and our ministries. (I.e Pain Later) and the pain later is usually worse!
